Infants & Toddlers

Quality Care
At Fledglings Educare Centre, we aim to provide a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Childcare Center offers various activities specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional, and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
The Environment
Fledglings Educare Centre is dedicated to ensuring your child is in a safe and secure environment.
Our facility is monitored by a video surveillance security system and has a private keypad entry for student drop-off and pick-up. All drop-offs and pick-ups must be signed in and out. Identification will be required for any new person providing pick-up for a child to ensure the safety of all of our students. Please view our gallery to see photos of our facility.
Balanced Meals
Morning snacks and afternoon snacks are all provided. Your child will be served a delicious and well-balanced breakfast and PM snack. All of our snacks are prepared fresh daily using quality ingredients and include a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. A monthly menu is posted on the wall in the facility. Meal times are an excellent opportunity to gather as a class and enjoy time together!
Young children who go to Fledglings Daycare get the tools and support they need for healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture our kids' emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.
Excellent Curriculum
Thematic Units
Thematic units organize learning by creating real-life connections, which is how children learn best. Thematic units offer students total immersion into a subject matter by integrating a subject across the curriculum - this ranges from walking in line from the playground, circle time, music and movement, math and counting, literature, science, art projects, learning centers, snacks and even lunch. We strive to create daily activities that tie into the main theme of the two-week unit to encourage the highest level of learning and retention all while having an AWESOME time!

Pricing
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 PM. We provide childcare for children ages 12 months through school age. Our cost is the Alberta Flat Fee, $326.25 per Month for children attending full-time daycare (12 months to kindergarten) or $680 for after-school care for grades one and up. A one-time fee of $150 for the registration fee is required at the initial enrollment. . Full-time status is Monday through Friday. We kindly ask for a 30-day notice if you are going to terminate enrollment.
Holidays
Our preschool is closed one week per year. We will be closed down one week at Christmas. We are also closed for the following major holidays:
